Today. we're talking about why INFJ's self-talk is crushing them. Of course, this doesn't happen to all INFJ's, but it's something that we encounter over and over because of our cognitive functions.We are people who live in our heads. Therefore we create meaning out of our stories, much more than most of the other types. We imagine what's going to happen, we imagine conversations that we would have with other people and we continuously tell ourselves the same stories over and over again about how the world works, how we are playing a part in it, and so on. And if we, as INFJ's are not being careful, then this can crush us. We are impressionable beings. This has a positive and a negative side to it. Meaning if you are aware of the stories you're telling yourself, you can change them and therefore create an entirely different outcome. But before we can do that, we first off have to recognize that we do tell ourselves negative stories, even if we're not aware of them.
