Before working as a writer and strategist, Katherine worked for Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund, where she managed a team focused on emerging markets. Prior to the pandemic, she had spent two years traveling around Latin America, working and writing from cities like Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Antigua.
