Susan Angel Miller, knows this as her truth following the sudden loss of her daughter Laura from a brain tumor, and experiencing her own brain tumor diagnosis and recovery.  

She says she has grown more in confidence and compassion by finding meaning from both, her daughters death and her own diagnosis, which she shares in her book Permission to Thrive.

In Susan Angel Miller’s memoir Permission to Thrive, she writes from personal experience about the sudden death of her daughter, and her own brain tumor diagnosis and recovery. 

Susan is an Option B grief gathering facilitator and leads virtual presentations on resilience and post-traumatic growth. She also advocates for increased organ donation awareness and raises money for brain cancer research.

For more than 25 years Susan has worked as a volunteer assisting Milwaukee nonprofits achieve their goals. 

She received her MBA from Loyola University in Chicago and her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Michigan.

Susan and her husband Ron are the proud parents of Sara, Rachel, and their forever-beloved Laura.
