On tonight’s Big Monday show we bat around a few topics like the Eclipse awards, why the powers that be need to offer more guidance to voters, some possible new categories, who should be eligible, should voters have to give reasoning for their selections (YES!), stop treating Mile races as sprints, should female horses get to identify as males (yeah we went there) and who is running in where next spring including the Pegasus, Middle East, Big Cap and others. Plus I admit I was happy CD was off the turf this weekend, Claiming Crown finances and my call for the dismissal of Thibs (Google him). Oh and a shameless lobbying attempt for the Steve Byk show to get an Eclipse and if he doesn’t, a new category should be created!
