We discuss the Sam Davis and the impressive win by Classic Causeway, where he fits in the KY Derby trail list and we also touch a bit on the El Camino Real at GG where (who else?) a Baffert runner swallowed up more points with the win by Blackadder. We look back at the campaigns of Wild Again and Slew O’ Gold and marvel at the difference between their schedules and todays horses. We talk about the fantastic card this coming Saturday at the FG anchored by the first 50 point prep race, the Risen Star which has quite a few of the higher profile Derby trail runners entered.
