March greetings Glocal Citizens!
I discovered my guest this week in conversation with friend and guest of Episode 73, Jaykumar Menon. Knowing that I practice yoga, he figured an introduction to his cousin and her latest book would be fruitful. Indeed, I'm happy to have spent some quality time with Shailaja Menon to kick-off March, Women's History Month. Shailaja is an Author, Speaker, TV Host and Certified 500-hr Manasa Yoga instructor with over twenty years of teaching experience in the field of yoga. Born and raised in India, now based in Malaysia, she is the Founder of the Mat & Beyond Yoga Studio in Puchong, Selangor. Her book on yoga, Yoga Shakti: Awaken Your Own Power, was published in May 2018. She hosts the weekly show Yoga Shakti on Anand TV, based in the UK with audiences in Europe, North America and New Zealand.
