This episode came to me because of the way I used to live my own life vs how I live my life today! I was content but not happy with my life. Too often in life, we start off with these BIG hopes and dreams but then somewhere along the line we settle... We settle for an ok life because we (unconsciously) believe that's what we deserve. However, God meant for us to LIVE a life of purpose because we were created for a purpose! Too many times though we find ourselves seeking our destiny outside of his will and purpose for us! Until we truly submit our lives to his will, we will continually find ourselves struggling to find true meaning in life. Without purpose, there is no meaning and without the Almighty God, there is no purpose of life. Don't just be content to exist but strive (through Jesus Christ) to Live to leave a mark on this world!

Mindset is most likely one of the most recognizable talking points in motivational speaking. However, at the root of your mindset is your perception. It is your perception (of yourself and your world) that inevitably shapes your mindset. In turn your mindset shapes your world view, which directly affects your actions. Ultimately for you to achieve the success and fulfillment that you seek, the root influence (perception) must first be properly addressed. Only through God's Leading can you effectively live in a fruitful reality! Your perception is a vital key in changing your reality.

I wanted to share a portion of a really special moment I had with my dad this father's day. As well as a peek into the mindset of the man that has been my mentor and best friend for 36 years! Also i asked him to share one of my favorite "lessons" he taught me as a preteen, that would go on to shape my mindset and my life to this very day!! Happy Father's day to ALL the dads out there and those doing their best by the grace of God to fulfill that role...
