Hey guys, I’m just going to come out and say it. I am ashamed. I am ashamed that I have never talked about black lives matter and what I am doing to further the movement. It requires conversation. It requires being vulnerable. It requires making mistakes. And all of that sounds scary and even silly sometimes. Like, “Why would I need to be vulnerable for something that I don’t know much about?” Well, it involves humanity. It involves human beings. And that is why I am ashamed that I have not talked about this in my podcast so far, and I didn’t even realize this until halfway through the episode. How lucky am I to have gotten Toya to break down these walls that we still have in talking about black lives matter. So that shame? That shame stops now. It stops now by taking action. And by the way, Toya Gavin is a kickass coach for lawyers who want to feel unstuck, and when you hear this episode, you’ll know exactly why she is so kickass.
