I remember when I was graduating from law school, I was really afraid to do anything. I was not on social media, I did not ask for help, and I just kind of wallowed in my own emotions and feelings of the impostor syndrome. That’s why I was so impressed by Gordon Chung, who is from Hong Kong, took the bar exam in New York, and is now practicing in the UK, talks about his very unique journey all over the world and finally finding his way into the very first step in his legal career. Because the reality is, wherever you are in the world, competition is tough if you are trying to break into the market. It gets really challenging and even dreary. In this episode, Gordon talks about how he spent a year trying to figure out what he really wanted and doing the work to get it. He drops some really great wisdom and amazing reminders, not just for new lawyers but any one of us feeling stuck where we are, so we can get unstuck and move forward.
