Linda believes that it starts with the individual - we have to take responsibility for how we handle news from a doctor. No one has the authority to tell us how long we have to live - we need to take responsibility for, “Where am I today?” One needs to make sure they have a great doctor as you both are a team when it comes to the patient’s heart.
The first step is taking responsibility - the first step is understanding you created the mess. NOW WHAT? Open communication goes a long way - analyzing what we can do better, eat better, etc. is a great start. You are in the doctor’s office for a reason - what actions have you done to get you in this office right now?
If someone has a question - Dr. Linda asks, “What are you thinking?” We do things out of fear or love - two very different frequencies. When we do things out of fear we are attracted to things that may harm us, or not be good to us. When we do things out of love - we do things out of selflessness. We need to be aware of what we are saying to ourselves. We also need to be aware of what we are putting in our mouth - for example, are you drinking ENOUGH water? The guideline is half your weight in ounces. We should be eating whole foods - think of foods that God made versus humans. Start with things that have a label. Do you have those ingredients in your pantry? If not - don’t buy it. Easy enough! Regular, uninterrupted sleep is critical for overall health as well.
Our knowledgeable guest mentions how our younger generations are having problems already and it is because of lack of minerals, lack of sleep, what foods they are eating etc. It is going to continue until people change habits!
Lastly, she does touch on how in her opinion - it is biblical and completely okay to eat animal meat. She says you need to find what works for you, if you want to go plant-based, go for it.
