From his brother purchasing a Wonder Bread truck and selling items door to door to John being "strong armed" into purchasing mattress parts he didn't need in order to get the products he wanted, Merwin is the epitome of hard work and dedication. Loaded down with parts he didn't know what to do with, Merwin learned how to make his own mattresses and forged his way into the shippable mattress category.
