Well, we are discussing all things pivoting today with my guest, Monica Ortega, the author of The Power of Pivoting, a self-development book to help guide people through an unexpected change in their lives. Maybe it’s in their relationships, or jobs; or their mental health, or even a world crisis.

 

Monica’s goal with her new book is to take the stigma away from change, “It doesn’t have to be scary! It can be epic! It can be an opportunity.”

 

Monica Ortega is a professional on-camera host, speaker, and actress from Holt, Michigan. She created the online travel show Monica Goes back in 2015 to inspire others to break out of their comfort zones and go on adventures. She's produced and hosted over 100 episodes, and been featured on Matador Network, USA Today's 10Best, Insider Travel, and more!

 

Monica has spoken openly about how her personal setbacks have helped her pivot to create a life she loves. She speaks at events around the country helping others to embrace change and create their own dream life. Monica emcees some of the biggest music festivals in the nation and has been seen in over 20 commercials on TV. She is also the co-host of the podcast Stumblin' Forward.
