In TV and movie news, Walmart plans to bring drive-in theaters back with the help of Tribeca. The Westworld creators set their sights on Fallout, a popular video game franchise, for their next series. Star Trek gets animated for CBS All Access. Marvel acquires the Alien and Predator franchises for comic publication. Christopher Miller praises the Spider-verse sequel while preparing for a Clone High reboot. Beavis and Butthead are heading back to television. Third time's a charm! Hollywood begins filming again internationally. Jason Momoa plans to give everyone the cold shoulder with a live-action telling of Frosty the Snowman. HBO Max replaces Batman v Superman with the Ultimate Edition.
In trailers, we see a teaser for Cuphead and show our Respect for Aretha Franklin with a new biopic trailer. Along with a few more movies, The Silencing and The Tax collector. Ending the section with a War for Cybertron coming to Netflix this month and Die Hart, a Quibi comedy based on Kevin Hart.
Speaking of Quibi, we give our thoughts on The Princess Bride remake that dropped on Quibi. Jessica fills us in on another show called Murder House Flip. Warrior Nun hit Netflix and it’s not quite what we expected, but we have opinions. Finally, we watched 7500 on Amazon Prime.
