Having a purpose is more than selling your wares. It can be the passion that drives you on or a way to make the world a better place. In this episode Lyndsay Lucero founder of Baxley Goods talks about how she started her business after wanting to find a bag that would cater to all her needs and hadn't travelled a million miles to be made. One of the stats that I took away from our chat is that one container ship emits as much carbon as 50 million cars. Shocked? I was too!
Having a business that runs with passion and purpose can really help you drive it forward, create raving fans who feel more like family, and wake up every day knowing that you can making real changed to the world. I learnt so much from Lyndsay's own journey, from IT to bag designer! And yes she had no idea what she was doing at the start, but learnt on the way. You can too!
