Offseason Awards Galore
It's a full house this week as Daryl returns from her time away. The show opens with a discussion about Meghan Schneider and the UofL field hockey program. The crew moves into the news about Payton Verhulst being named National Female Athlete of the Year in high school by USA Today. Of course, they'll never pass up an opportunity to talk about women's basketball, so they discuss the roster once more and look at some schedule addition announcements. Over the week, Jared had an interview with Mercedes Pastor (link) from UofL field hockey before she departs the city (and country) to head to Belgium to play professionally. In a dip from joy and excitement, it's impossible to ignore the NCAA gender disparity report that was released this week, but the show wraps up with some happier final thoughts.
