Stew Friedman is a Practice Professor of Management at UPenn’s Wharton Business School, and the Founding Director of the Wharton Work/Life Integration Project. Stew is also the author of the award-winning best-seller, Total Leadership, which utilizes the exercises taught in his classroom at Wharton to increase leadership capacity and performance in all areas of life, not just business. His newest book, Leading the Life You Want, builds on the skills taught in Total Leadership to help people develop a better work-life balance and find more meaning and satisfaction with their jobs and relationships. In addition, Stew is a regular contributor to publications such as the Harvard Business Review, and has served in an advisory role for a wide range of companies and organizations, including the US Department of Labor, the United Nations, and even two White House administrations.
