I’m starting off 2016 with Evan Clark, one of the co-hosts of the Humanist Experience podcast. The Humanist Experience is different from most podcasts I listen to. Instead of either talking about the news or interviewing a different guest each episode, the Humanist Experience is more like This American Life, using journalism and first-person narrative to explore different themes. Today I’ll be chatting with Evan about the podcast, the kind of stories they cover, and a little about his background. Originally I wanted to interview both Evan and his co-host Serah Blain, but she was sick during the time of recording, so I just interviewed Evan. But we still had a great conversation.
