Jo Ann is a registered nurse who is on the advisory board of the Harvard University Football Players Health study, and the board of directors of the professional football players mothers’ association. Jo Ann is the mother of Jordan Pugh who played in the NFL as a safety from 2010 to 2015. We invited Jo Ann to talk with us about the ways in which the results of the Harvard study help us understand and resolve the healthcare disparities in our healthcare system as a whole.
