In today’s episode I’m flying solo and talking about a very important topic: self care. I feel like we all hear the term “self care” A LOT these days, and it really does have a different meaning to us all. Today I’m sharing how I’ve been working on improving my own self care, and how I recently discovered a new meaning to the term. I am getting VERY personal (consider this your warning!) and talking about a couple different health issues that I’ve been dealing with lately. I share how this has forced me to re-examine my approach to self care. I’m also talking about making self care a priority in my everyday life, and what works for me. Later, I’m also sharing listener tips on how you guys practice your own self care. There are some really good ones! I wanted to do this episode because I feel like as parents (and especially as special needs parents) we are constantly putting ourselves on the back burner. I personally have done this for years and I know many of you can relate. Hopefully this episode will make you want to turn over a new leaf! Enjoy listening!
