What Does Disney Have in Store for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World?

On October 1, 2021 Walt Disney World will celebrate its 50th anniversary. That will kick-off an 18-month celebration of festivities at Walt Disney World. So far, Disney hasn't given us much about what they're actually planning for this significant milestone. Beyond dressing up the park icons and coming up with a new logo, any actual festivities, events or other celebratory happenings are being kept under wraps.

Hopefully Past Anniversaries are Not a Barometer for the WDW 50th

If past anniversaries at Disneyland and Walt Disney World are a barometer for what's ahead, we're concerned that Disney execs may not be give Walt Disney World the party it deserves on its golden anniversary -- particularly as we come out of the pandemic.

In this episode, we share what we know so far about the festivities planned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort and more importantly, what we hope to see as some of the celebrations and festivities that Disney could do.
