ما علاقة تطوير إدارة الأعمال بتحسين أوضاع حقوق الإنسان؟ ما هي أبرز انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان التي تقوم بها الشركات سواء على مستوى البيئة أو المجتمع أو على مستوى الخصوصية؟ وكيف يساعد تطوير أساليب الإدارة والمعايير التي تخضع لها الشركات في الحد من أو التصدي لهذه الانتهاكات؟ 

يناقش ماهر جبره هذه الأسئلة وغيرها مع الأستاذ ياسر عكاوي، وهو صحفي اقتصادي لبناني وناشط وناشر في مجال حوكمة الشركات وحقوق الإنسان. 

عكاوي هو رئيس تحرير مجلة The Executive. 

وهي مجلة أونلاين متخصصة في الاقتصاد والبيزنس في منطقة الشرق الوسط وشمال إفريقيا. وهو عضو لجنة حقوق الإنسان بهيومان رايتس ووتش بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط منذ عام 2010، وهو أيضا عضو فعال في العديد من منظمات المجتمع المدني في لبنان. فضلا عن أنه يقوم بتدريس ريادة الأعمال والإدارة بالجامعة الأمريكية ببيروت.

Maher Gabra discusses these and other questions with Mr. Yasser Akkawi, a Lebanese economic journalist, activist, and publisher in the field of corporate governance and human rights. Yasser Akkawi is the editor-in-chief of The Executive, an online magazine specializing in economics and business in the MENA region. He has been a member of the Human Rights Committee of Human Rights Watch in the Middle East region since 2010, and he is also an active member of several civil society organizations in Lebanon. He also teaches entrepreneurship and management at the American University of Beirut.
